Booking Conditions

 

All the details on our website and in our brochure have been carefully checked and printed in good faith. The following conditions form the contract between Estartit Owners Club Ltd and the client paying the deposit. If you would like to make a booking with us please e mail or telephone Wendy Rigg to check availability. She will confirm the availability and let you have a booking form. Please complete this and return to her with 20% deposit. For properties managed by Prestigi payment of the deposit should be made by Bank Transfer or Credit Card. With Estartit Owners properties payment can be made either by Cheque or Bank Transfer. Payment of the 20% deposit automatically confirms acceptance of our Booking Conditions. A confirmation will usually be sent within a week of receipt of the deposit. This document confirms the price and the property reserved and becomes part of this contract. The final balance is due 8 weeks before departure. If travel arrangements are booked through ourselves a separate confirmation with the date final payment is due will be sent to you by our ABTA registered Travel Agent. We guarantee there are no hidden extras and there will be no price increases on your accommodation.


If you are forced to cancel your holiday, provided you inform us at least 8 weeks before the date of your departure, you will only forfeit your deposit. This deposit may be returned to you providing we are able to re-let the property. Cancellation of your holiday less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival will make you liable to pay the balance of the rental. If you are covered by insurance you may be able to claim a refund of the charge if you are cancelling due to illness. You will be required to provide a medical certificate to the Insurance Company to support your claim. There is no refund if you cancel after the arrival date.


There may be circumstances over which we have no control that make it necessary to materially alter or cancel your holiday arrangements. In the unlikely event that this happens we will notify you immediately, offer comparable alternative accommodation if available or give you a full refund of all monies you have paid. This is the full extent of our liability.


Any complaints on Estartit Owners Club properties must be immediately notified to our representative in Estartit. His contact phone number will be on a card in all properties. Any complaints on Prestigi Properties must be immediately notified to Prestigi in their office and in both cases every effort will be made to rectify the situation. Unless this is done and the nature of your complaint given in writing at the time of the complaint , no claim for compensation made after your return from holiday will be entertained. We cannot be held responsible for the failure of outside services or their supply to the properties, neither can we be held responsible for loss or damage to our clients property whilst they are on holiday with us.


After receipt of your final payment you will be sent directions for key collection. We ask you do not take possession of your property before 1700 on the day of your arrival in order to give our staff time to prepare the property. We will require you to vacate the property by 1000 on the day of your departure. If you have a late flight we will endeavour to be flexible with this arrangement, but we cannot guarantee this and consultation with our representatives in Estartit on this subject is imperative.


We ask you to leave all properties reasonably clean and tidy on departure. With Estartit Owners Club properties,  you are required to lodge a Security Deposit. This will be payable by cheque as a separate transaction when paying your final balance 8 weeks before your holiday. This will require your cheque guarantee card number to be written on the back of the cheque and will only be cashed in the event of damage to the property, breakage of items in the property, loss of keys, or in the event of the property being left in an unacceptably  untidy or dirty condition  on departure. If this is the case you may be charged for any extra cleaning and this will be deducted from your security deposit.    In most cases your security cheque will be destroyed (or returned if specifically requested) at the end of your holiday.
With Prestigi Properties on arrival in Estartit please be prepared to present passports for registration purposes. Please also present your credit card on arrival so that they may take a signed impression of this as a Security. Your card will only be debited in the event of breakage, loss of keys pool passes and loss of or damage to any item associated with the property We ask you to leave all properties reasonably clean and tidy on departure. If this is not the case you may be charged for any extra cleaning. We regret that without presentation of a credit card and without the holder of this card being present, Prestigi cannot allow entry into any of their properties.
